it's time to say i love you

when you know that love is right
you gathered dreams bouquet
and one or two will drift along with you
to other colored days

when love is right
and meadows sweet
like sunlight to the trees
the clouds blow by
just howling in the sky
to make a day like this

when summer smile
in everything you do
it's time to say I love you.

Her name is Lowla, she's not a show girl!

Her name is Lowla and she's not a show girl, she is my hassle free make up artist (referred by Michelle dela F.-Pancho) hayyy I've been chasing my Miss Earth beautician, but I guess I've done more than enough effort to chase him, there is a good reason why on  Miss Earth I can't reach him. Anyway I have Lowla now and it took me less tha a minute to find her and close the deal.   See you soon Lowla :-)

We Made It !

December 12, 2009 - we celebrated our make or break year! 7 years na kame..wee...hooo... and we started the day me being mad, kse naman 7 years na late pa din si Ninja (asar!) We went to Immaculate for our canonical interview medyo kakatense kse si father me Boy Abunda Questions...but it was a nice experince very enriching so sa mga nag papacivil wedding too bad they don't have this kind of experience.  We went back to our love story on how and when we met, the happiest and the most challenging moments in our relationship.  I am very proud naman of our story and how we handle our relationship all through this years.  We did well and I think na impressed naman si father sa amin ni Ninja (shooos me lang medyo mad pa ko nyan ha!) we answered all the questions sincerely and listened to his advises and reminders.

Next stop, Farmer's market.  After our interview medyo slightly nagshopping kame ng di kasosyalang mga bagay, we bought tabo, timba, walis, dustpan, basahan, gamit panglinis and out matching tsinelas na goma worth 25pesos! We went to our new nest and clean the house sssoooobbrang dumi at alikabok, sobrang sosyal at romantic naman ng ating celebration ng 7 years :-( !!!  Promise me part two pa yung paglilinis.

7 years now....a lifetime to go!

Our Pre-Nup photoshoot venue

My only consideration in choosing the venue for our pre nup photoshoot is that there will be no other people or at least no crowd...so parks and amusement centres and malls are out of my list.  Mama Mary and guardian angel must have been listening to me....thanks to Netch (again for the nth time) I found the perfect place, Bramante Condominium in Ortigas, Renaissance Building. Not only it has a quiet and private ambiance it's also cheap, good view, nice skyline, cute gazebo, magnificent fountain, buildings as back drop, swimming pool, and a garden all in one place.  Enjoy the pix and my very expensive model...he...he...he...!

He really prepared for this kita nyo naman sa outfit pa lang a country side trip in long sleeves??? and a brown lether shoes??? OVER. Anyways ssuuppper ganda ng mga church me modern and old we went to Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Batangas City and then to Lipa Cathedral and a new church near SM Batangas, Simabahan ng Santissima Trinidad.

and the bridesmaids fell in love with the shoes

they trully deserve to be my secondary bridesmaids (wink) ...well i have been an abay several times already (kaya nga sobrang happy to be the bride now ...otherwise gusto ko na mag ninang para iba naman) and swear i've never been sooo enthusiastic about being an abay ooooppppsss bago me magalit of course i'm happy to experience all that. pero...pero...it's a good job for Mary to get bridesmaids who are not just my friends but they're friends among themselves as well. Why? kse i don't get to experience yata being so excited and spend long hours comparing notes and researching on dress and planning for the event like it's 'our event'.  Syempre brides usually have their own happy world and sometimes they get to choose the colors and styles for the bridesmaid but not really in to the details. but my girls are doing very very good sometimes i want to be a bridesmaid na nga lang instead of a bride (joke ninja!) .... they take their role seriously like this is not just a one day event for the girls. So with mommy Tel and Sopiya Bleyr we created a shared folder with more or less a dozen sub-folders of different sources of dress .... tapos yung napiling dress wala don :D

and of course shoes matterrrr, thanks to Beegee who is recuperating from the previous calamity in all possible VNC stores with Marge the soon to be Manager of VNC Trinoma Branch and Sunshine....ahhh well excuse no VNC outlet in Tunisia.

Ninja's name is soooo complicated

Yes my dear you!!! why can't your name be Edward or Chuck or Pepeng or Ondoy or something simple that won't give me headache...tsk..tsk..tsk... History of Ninja's name, please rewind.....

  • his complete name is CYPRUZ JEGARR, unusual no??? that's what he used in his entire life, school records, government IDs, employment record, the name he used when he was courting me, etc.
  • name in NSO Birth certificate - JEGARR only :( mmmm its okay we can ammend everything after the wedding so you can change status also.
  • name in Baptismal certificate and church record - JEGGAR (with a double G and a sing R) .... nuni..nuni..nuni...

job for wonder Mary :-) .... and so we have to go back to Batangas City where we was born to amend the church record..... pray really hard that there won't be any other version of his pretty name. Good thing...we're going to B city and we'll have fun and also opportunity to meet his relatives.

The Proposal

I may not be in my best dress but at least I have my headband :-)

May 17, 2009 - every body's busy in the house and I couldn't care less it's just another Sunday ...slave day where we all have to work in the house. It's extra busy coz it's yaya's last day and we're cooking something for her.

He arrived before lunch he bought cakes and ice cream and still I thought it's for yaya. Damn this skeletal person, I think he find it amusing that I am pissed. Suddenly my sisters shut down the TV and call everyone for a 'meeting for the proposed Palawan tour', it's not very unusual in this family to have a meeting in any time of the day. So I went inside, sit beside my dad and then they all said 'game na!', Mary still clueless just waited for somebody to start and then there was silence....I bet it's just a few seconds of silence but it feels like eternity. And then more silence... and then I knew what's next "owww shooot" even before he start. Then Ninja found his voice and asked my family if he could marry me, he proposed to my family? and not to me? waaaaiiittt a minute. "Why are you asking them and not me?" I said, he looked at me and then I understand he knew me that well nga. He planned for this together with my sisters and all the preps are not for yaya but for me. (sus napagod pa ko okay lang naman saken not so clean ang house) They all said yes except for my dad...who just cried silently we waited for him to stop he..he..sensya na emo-dad nga e. We all cried as mama bing gave her advise. I know papsy has nothing against me and jegarr but I'm his baby girl :-) He didn't say a word for the longggeesst moment but in the end after so much contemplation he said Yes!

And now, it's my turn of course I will say 'Yes' after 6 years and 5 months, its a definite yes! I'm not sure the exact moment I realized that I'm prepared for this, I'm only sure that it's Jegarr so regardless of when and where he asked me, I will surely say Yes! So he gave me the ring, we hugged, we kissed, and then we celebrate.

After wards, the one who made the proposal scene too long was the one who seems to be very excited all along! Ninja wants us to get married on June 2010, so he will have time to save and plan. Me on the other hand wants a January wedding, nice weather and it will be a good start for 2010. My dad..my dad... wants us to get married on November 2009. Whaaatt!!! and I thought your not yet ready for me to get married? Anyway we still have a lot of time to decide on the date .

I got myself engaged didn't I? It was very sincere and Ninja was so respectful to my parents. I am glad he asked my family first because no way ... or I don't have the courage to announce it to them. After we received our blessings from Familia Inobaya time to propose to God.

We went to St Vincent and attended the mass, we prayed and we thanked God for that very special day. We knew that this will not just be our wedding but our wedding with God as well so we proposed to Him. God gave me more than what I deserved and I am blessed because more than anything I know I have my family and Jegarr with me.

Bridesmaid Invites

To my secondary sponsors Elline, Beegee and Marge..... I send them an e-mail with the following messages:

Dear Shinderelline, Sharge and Sheegee (we're making fun of something then that's why we're all SH names)

I know 218 KB !!!! but the content is equivalent to 200 plus Gigabytes....
Because we had so much fun in Palawan and all its General Merchandise Store, and we are the infamous pianono girls, and you’re my BIGOLImates, TRINOMA-mates , and co-stars in the upcoming film CINDERELLINE life in Stinking India and The Search for SH-names and we are batch mates on being Dharmasiadev Anand Seeras Angels (or most likely Alipin), and among the survivor of the GSM Conversion war, and we have been the united force against "Uuuuyyy hellloooo", "Hala!", "November pain", "Bruha sa budget", "Tropa", "Deej and Neighbors Brigade", and many more, lets add another one on our list.Bring it on! BINGO tayo.

Thank you.Mary (screen name SHARY)

and then send them a poem in a power point presentation (that time I'm still set in silver-blue):

A mystical magical wedding is what I wish
With stars, moon, sun and meteors on my list
A ray of sapphire and silver dust all over
Will definitely make my wedding day shimmer
I like my friends to be with me as I remember
The day I set my life to something better
Thus on the day I will finally say I do
You should know that I, will be needing you
Candles, cords and veil you will bring
Dress in gowns and perhaps with wings?? J
Please be my bridesmaid as I look forward to
The biggest day of my life with support from you.

Search for the right wedding colors

We've considered a number of possible colors that will actually define us as a couple and will be festive enough for this special event.

We initially thought of something blue and definitely there should be a silver .... I would want a magical and mystical effect with stars, moons, meteors and the likes. I was mesmerized by Tiffany and winter theme weddings and the colors is just neutral not very feminishh and not so manly. I wouldn't want to have a pink because Jhig's identity (who always seems to be in black) will loose his signs that this is also his wedding :-) (i have to remind myself again and again) However my mom just said "mmm okay" and that is the start of the end. I always value mama Bing's opinion (takot ko lang...he..he..) not that I always like her opinion, kse most of the time nga were in extreme opposites. And blimmeyy when she said "mmm okay"..... its not good. We'll i like the overall theme but I'm not quiet contended with blue and silver either, since our church is Immaculate Cathedral and everything inside is also blue maybe it's not a very good color also.

I used to imagine that green will be my wedding color but I feel like it's overused already. And for 2009 and 2010 weddings and debut every one's using splasssshhhh of purple, lavender, etc.

Now we're gearing to Mediterranean colors of orange shades and touches of pink and yellow. My sister forwarded this site to me with wedding pictures in orange motifs. Love it! but it's not me ...he..he... I'm not really the sun shiniest person and in the extensive research I made, orange-pink-yellow are more like Indian colors (oh...ow...jai-ho!)

I think I should not define ourselves in one color, because in reality life is sometimes happy sometimes sad. The more color you have in your life the better it gets.

We will announce the final colors soon...
